Regarding the Two Weapon Defense Feat

Just so we are all on the same page, here  is the wording of the feat:

 Type of feat: General
 Prerequisites: 15 Dex and Two Weapon Fighting
 Required for: Improved Two Weapon Defense
 Specifics: When wielding two weapons you gain a +1 shield bonus to your Armor Class. If you fight defensively this bonus increases to +2.
 Use: Automatic

My question is this: How does one fight defensively?

Common answers are "Parry Mode" or "Expertise", however, both of these seem to be ineffective. I can confirm that there is no change with Parry Mode and other have confirmed that Expertise is of no use as well. (http://www.nwnravenloft.com/forum/index.php?topic=10339.15) Has anyone been able to get the +2 bonus? If so, how did you do it. I would also love a response from a developer if they'd care to shed some light on the subject. Any other information would be useful as well.

That part of the feat is not functional I think, and the description was merely transfered over from NWN 2 counterpart.

The two-weapon defense feat is already calculated into your AC when you equip two weapons. Whether you have the feat or not, at least, that's how it seems anyway. I get the +1 shield bonus to my AC when I equip both my weapons.

(At least I think it's a shield bonus)

If you have parry, thats the parry bonus ac

Everything is added automatically when you equip correct weapon combos.

Also, the AC bonus is sweet.

The AC from parry is really quite nice, in fact i'm build my character around that or at least incorporating parry heavily. With 18 in parry, counting item bonuses and skill points, I get a +4 to my Shield AC. With 1 ac per 5 parry equaling +3, +1 from Two weapon defense feat when wielding two weapons, I still am not able to get the second part of the feat by "fighting defensively". All said and done, I should be able to increase this shield ac bonus to +5, based on the feats wording, if i could figure out how to fight defensively. Both parry mode and expertise are ineffective.

Specifically: "If you fight defensively this bonus increases to +2"

Are we in agreement that this a mis-wording or is there something else i'm missing?
