So, I've a friend who has previously never played Neverwinter Nights, just bought it, and downloaded the stuff for our server. He tried to connect, and the result?

He's apparently banned.

I'll say again: He's never owned Neverwinter Nights until buying it to play. Has not played it anywhere, with any ID, or IP.

What do?

Did he buy it from GoG? If so, he needs to ask them for a unique CD Key, for multiplayer. They normally give out just a generic one. They tend to be pretty quick about it, when asked.

He probably didn't enter the key properly. Just getting it sent by GoG isn't enough. You have to make changes to some files on your computer in order for it to work.
