Password lost, what do i do?

okay so i have gotten a new computer, a new copy with new cd key, no longer have the old cd key and my main character is locked because i have no idea what the password is. i really really need help with this, if anyone can give me any advice, or any dm's or anything could help me out i would really really appreciate it.

Still have the old PC anywhere? If you did you can get the password from that.

Catching a DM in game can remedy this for you.

It might just still be frozen from your bad login.

Your CD keys are in the file nwncdkey.ini, why don't you just use the old one?

because that cd key belongs to a friend and i have my own now and would like to use it.
