Crashing when loading into Baratak!

So I got my character to Mt Baratak, and my NWN crashed, now every time I log back in it crashes my game on the loading screen. Took all my graphics etc down to the lowest, it's still doing it... any ideas??

I think it's something to either do with 'Mists' as a placeable or the tilsets that has 'risen' places. It happens in the Mists Camp, the von Zeklos Areas, and atop of Baratak/Balinoks.

My theory is more towards Mists.

restart your comp, make sure everything is down, for sure, including textures, try again.

I did. I made everyone do a reset. So.

Log onto a different character, ask a DM to port your crashing person the next time you log in. You'll probably still crash but the next time you log in you'll probably be in the new area.

For whatever reason, it's always solved for me by lowering my graphics settings to the minimum while in those areas. Then I can push them back to normal when I'm out.

It's getting to the point where I can't really go to any major dungeons.

I rarely have crashed, mostly in the balinoks, but lowering my graphics settings to the minimum seems to work for there. Not exactly sure why that is, but *shrugs* it works.

Have you tried re-installing the hak-pack? A friend used to have this trouble until he tried doing that.

Could be your override folder too if you have stuff in it. Try moving just that folder to desktop temporarily and  see if you can load in

Could be your override folder too if you have stuff in it. Try moving just that folder to desktop temporarily and  see if you can load in

Try these. Since the game worked fine for you prior, your hakpack 7z files are probably fine and you could simply re-install them from your old downloads. Also remove the overrides folder, drag it onto the desktop like Dawn's Justice suggested. Perhaps it's an override conflicting with the zones. If none of this works, try reinstalling the game.
