"This production is to be put on hold until the person spearheading this project speaks to me about it. As the creative director of the Théâtre de la Cathédrale, I wish to make it abundantly clear that while we do not mind others making use of our space, we do resent it when someone schedules something without our express permission, speaks to people not of the troupe to fill the acting roles without any sort of publicly held audition, and then bill it as something of ours.
The Théâtre de la Cathédrale is a privately-owned and managed establishment, but you will find us more than fair when it comes to letting others share our stage. We do, again, wish to be spoken to and consulted first, and see what is done on the stage, so we can determine what the wants and needs of our guests are, and see to quality control. We only ask a small fee in exchange, and perhaps more importantly, some sort of communication.
If working with us is out of the question, know that the Théatre de la Baie is available for public use by all.
