Hey guys,

Recently came back and have noticed an issue, I'm lagging like hell. This wouldnt be an issue but, we're on a fast connection and I've noticed no drop in speed on any other server nor anything else but PoTM, when I look in the server lists everything else has about 100 ping, Ravenloft lags so hard it doesnt even show the ping. Only thing I can think of is that there is two of us here on this line. Or that our connection doesnt like the server. How I fix?

Might be related to the tilesets and what not. I know my performance improved BIG TIME after I disabled the skyboxs and lowered my graphics somewhat. I'm playing on a laptop, so I try to skim all my games down to accommodate for that. Just tweak the video settings. I know recently the hide spam has been KILLING me lag wise, get that two second blip every time an enemy randomly appears.

What does the scanner see? Into the head? Down into the heart? Does it see into me, into us? Clearly or darkly? I hope it sees clearly, because I can't any longer see into myself. I see only murk. I hope for everyone's sake the scanners do better.

Basically here is the run down best i can describe it:
2 computers, 2 different players.
same router.
in new zealand (nz internet sucks because it is being funneled through auzzie)
Only happens at around 10pm (+12gmt)
Graphics are not an issue.
seems to only happen on the ravenloft server.
Internet speed and download use is unlimited

I think it might be an issue with having 2 CD keys on the same router IP address, also country location might be an issue.
Then again i only have a little bit of network knowledge so i could have everything wrong.

It could be a busy time other parts of the world. Packets likely have a larger number of hops to get through to get to the server, which is located where Soren lives. Two different IP addresses on the same network is unlikely to cause latency issues, your router should be able to handle the traffic.

 Woman we had three going before, three computers three CD keys in the same house. I was lag free.  :>

i think nocturne is right with  the busy times ill see if i can try tweek it or ring up our ISP and have a good old juice rage

If you're going to call the ISP, I might recommend running your own Traceroute to see how many hops, and on what hops there is the greatest delay for your data.

Huh... I play on what would be considered dialup (>1MEG) without any real lateceny or lag issue to speak of. (lag sometimes.... but very doable)
