Missing PCs

So I logged in to play today and my character is missing while an old charecter that I haven't played with is there, but that charecter was not there the last time I logged in. I don't know what happened or where my character is. Can anyone help me with this? This isn't the first time it's happened but it is the first time that an old character that went missing has shown up. I'm really bummed out about this I was getting close to lvl 3 with my new missing char.

Do you know if the server crashed? Also do you save your characters with the skill?

Does yours character have same name ? the old and the new might overlaping each other

They all have different names, and what skill do you use for saving? I don't know if the server crashed or not, but the other day, the charecter was there, I was playing with that char for two days.
