A notice posted on the Refuge of the fifth light and outskirts Notice board

The Refuge of the Fifth Light wishes to clarify matters that have recently been brought to our attention.

An elf by the name of Jadin Veritas has been in the area recently going by the title of Inquisitor.

This man is currently under sanction while within the borders of Barovia, that is to say, while here he does not hold the rank he claims to and does not act on behalf of the church.

The church wishes to apologise for any insult he may have caused and assure the public that this is not the way the Refuge of the fifth light deems it appropriate to act.

The refuge of the Fifth Light and its servants do not support or endorse Jadin Veritas in any way.
