You can't modify the torso at all. Which means you can't modify anything below it (arms, waist, etc) Unless I have a bugged set somehow.

It's not bugged, it's intentional. You can't modify the robe part because that's the part that's enchanted. You can modify the rest of the body parts and you can dye it.

Most of the monk gear is as well. Im not complaining since most of the monk gear is also very stripperiffic. It used to be you COULD alter the appearance as long as you modified the look thru "change robe appearance" as opposed to "change armor appearance" but im not sure if that still applys. Its one of those silly pet pieves one of the developers has about making clothes look like armor so now all monks and some wizards get to look like strippers and/ or clowns in game.

That developer would be me, and I'm not fond of your tone. I felt most of the changes people made to the items in question to be "silly" which is why certain items cannot have certain parts modified. Most of the monk items allow for robes to be added over them and can be dyed anyway.

Hah! It's been ages since I've seen this topic pop up. You can look quite dapper in your justaucorps, I recommend altering a cloak into a hat and dying it to match. Professional wizard strategy right here.

I don't see how giving people less options in their appearance is beneficial.  Sure, some people will make their outfits look ridiculous, but they'll do so with anything.  The monk outfits and Justacorps are nice items mechanically, but if they don't fit the themes many people go for with their characters, they won't use them.  I've bought monk outfits that looked great in the store, only to find I'd be permanently stuck as Cammy from Street Fighter.  My monk is an Indian-style monk, so more of a Dhalsim.  That doesn't mean I should have to track down another monk robe with different attributes or whatever that looks like Dhalsim - just letting me adjust the original robe would be enough.

Same with the Justacorps.  If there are in-character uniforms, people could just alter whatever they wore to look like the uniform - no worries.

At the very least, the clothes should have a disclaimer if they're unmodifiable for some reason.

For Justaucorps, the jacket is the part that is enchanted. If you remove the jacket, then you don't have the enchantment anymore.

I just added a crapload of new modifiable monk robes (19!) to the loot tables. They should be live in less than a week. You can stop whining about it now.
