Special Feat: Racial Powers?

Sort of how the templates work for MPCs, can one of the special feats be used for the various subraces supernatural 1/day abilities, such as Aasimar Light, Tiefling Darkness, and such, so that it scales with level and we can get rid of the item?

It actually doesn't have to be like those feats at all. You can pretty easily create feats in base NWN that directly replicate those spells. I don't know how to make them level with you though.

You can more or less copy paste/change the feats that assassins and the like get that are spells and make them a different spell hook.

I wish Aasimer's had their actual Daylight spell. It's very effective, and can light a whole room, it also dazes those weak to sunlight like vampires, maybe we could give it a Hammer of the gods effect without the damage?

The reason we haven't done this in the past is because it wasn't possible to dynamically altar the feat list of PCs. With NWNx we can now do this however, so it's not unlikely that you'll see this in the future.
