Warehouse
« on: July 19, 2012, 08:33:41 PM »
The Warehouse seems to be broken, It won't claim or store items making it a huge inconvinience.

Things Tried...

-Server Reset
-Map Reset
-Trying claim and store items in different combinations.

Nothing seems to restore it. Perhaps there is a bug in the Scripting?

Tested, found the same issues myself. The script seems to not function at all.

Also, this happening in Vallaki Storage Warehouse. Unsure if this is happening anywhere else.

Is this an omen? I am hearing so many things now.. Scripts not working, no storage, oozepocalypse 2.0, plus IRL stuff..

The Danish Elminster must look at these problems.

No, no you are all seeing it wrong. It is a Grand Assessment to test the creativity of the playerbase. The Kind Masters experimenting. They take away this, turn off that and observe how we overcome the new challanges. Well let's see...the storage is not working. How can we live without storage. Suddenly PotM economy suffers a great collapse setting back Barovia to the stone age, and Dementlieu to the Medieval ago.

Now if you follow me, this can bring wonderful RP opportunities.

As new goods are not flowing as they used to,  banditry might get into a new Golden age so players can acquire quality -non-stored- equipment instead of buying papers from merchants. This also means the downfall of merchants who relied too much on papers. How can they survive?

They might need to hire heavily muscled thugs to tote around all that heavy stuff they want to trade. Now you see, muscled guys also have a need and they require wages --> Prices go sky high. Some more cunning muscled guys might decide if they have the power of strength and carry the merchant's whole inventory why should they not just get away with it?

Black market will thrive, stolen goods flocking to the Drain. Also the Assassins will receive more and more jobs to take care of the thieving Warehouses walking on two legs. Thus they have to hire counter-agents if they value their life.

As you see, such a tiny thing that a Warehouse is switched off temporarily will cause quite an uppheaval and new exciting RP. Get on with it Kiddos, a new age coming.

It doesn't appear to have fixed the Port-a-Lucine bank.
