Upon checking on another server I found that they probably have the biggest custom content over the internet. One can actually look like a ninja, samurai, monk, druid, barbarian, roman, ranger, priest, chinese, japanese and so freakin on. There are tons of heads, tatoos, cloaks, robes. Many things.. PotM, IMO, has the best RP around and any argument against this is invalid. But we could use more "looks"!

I have created a druid just to see how many awesome content is available on the nwn community forums:

I do agree with the needing more looks. I played on a server that you could customize a cloak to look like a scarf and has silly as it is that was one of my favorite things lol

Requires hak additions. Not an impossibility, mind you, but we tend to wait until the CEP updates before we add to the hak because it's a very time-consuming process and we don't want to overlap with anything the CEP might add.

So basically, the best thing to do would be to pester the CEP team to add this stuff

I'm sorry to hear that then. With this I don't mean to criticize the staff, as I know much work is done around here. Just that with the pace the CEP releases new stuff... it'll take years to come, these things already exist for a while.

If you've ever had to edit .2da and/or .tlk files before, you'd understand why it's not a simple matter to just add things like crazy, because if some other hakpack overlaps your .2da lines it can cause instabilities and it's a real pain in the butt to go back and try and fix it again.

I can sympathize in regards to the slowness of the CEP team, but Barry1066, the CEP's lead, is still recovering from having one of his lungs removed. I'm willing to be patient while he recovers. I'm also pretty sure that if those awesome hoods are brought to the CEP team's attention, they'll likely be added.

Really O.o i would of imagined it -had- to be two to sufficiently maintain the body. I can only imagine how that would feel though. Bring so used to your entire chest filling with air then suddenly only feeling half do so :3

On a more IN-topic talk, I checked more contents today. Found tons of hats and helmets that do not hide the face. Dance animations, and even actual crawling ones... I`m sure those sewerish calibans would love it..

You adapt to it... from what I understand you experience some light-headedness at first and obviously you can't perform strenuous activity as long as you normally would, but you can definitely survive on one healthy lung.

OOh! I hate it when suddenly you read something and it shatters your illusion that this world is pleasant and isnt full of suffering and pain. This is exactly why I dont watch the news or read news papers. I might go make some brakefast and pretend I never found out about that, poor guy.

Regarding the topic here itself, it is as David said. Better than putting pressure on the CEP team though, volunteering them to help would be even better. A lot of the work they do is very simple, but just somewhat time consuming.
