In general, i like the idea of holy water accessible in ML temples
I have some trouble to see Petrus point there.
In fact, i really would expect to see holy water in a place which is so heavily infested with belief and fear of vampires.
pro: the ML church is definitely one from which i would expect use of holy water
contra: if it were accessible, it might well draw many more barovians to the ML faith, which would not really fit the background
pro: holy water is a much more offensive weapon against vampires than garlic is, so it is something more likely used by someone who intently faces the undead - which the common barovian would not do - better to keep them out and use something that prevents them from entering -> garlic
From the metagaming point, i like the availability of holy water on the mountain - that alone makes it rare and encourages travelling. But from the in-game perspective it does not make sense at all. Last but not least due to the fact that it is a place for WIZARDS.
