Would it be a possibility to allow a command, similar to marking or @voice, to allow for players to communicate through doors/transitions?
Player A: @door [Knocks on the door twice]
door: [Knocks on the door twice]
Player B: @door [A man can be heard speaking on the other side] Who is it?
door: [A man can be heard speaking on the other side] Player B: Who is it?
Thats pretty much the basic idea. I think to be a rather useful function to enhance RP. Thoughts?
Player A: @door [Presses his ear to the door]
Player B: @door [The relentless sounds of a headboard banging against the wall can be heard]
Player C: "What the hells are you doing, you little pervert?"
"Player A: "Uh...it's exactly what it looks like..."
In all seriousness though it's a good idea, plenty of instances I can think of where I've had to send "You hear the front door being knocked" tells to people because there was no mechanical way to get their attention.
