Ready your quills, mesdames et messeurs, for if there is a writer or storyteller within you, then you stand the chance to win a prize most magnificent! The Theatre de la Cathedrale proudly presents... the Night of 100 Candles!

Those who wish to take part in the competition need only compose a tale of horror, be it real or fictitious - the more blood-curdling and terrifying, the better. Quality of the writing will be taken into account, along with its entertainment value, and fear factor.

Submissions are to be sent in ((via PM)) to Absalom Nightlyre. Stories are limited to 1,000 words, maximum.

On Saturday, November 19th, at ((4:00 PM EST/GMT -5)), the submissions will be read aloud (by the author if he or she so chooses) in the Theatre de la Cathedrale, and shall thusly be reviewed upon by an impartial panel of judges. Said judges will determine the 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place Winners.

To the First Place Winner: 50,000 solars, and the quill of legendary horror writer André Bellamont!

To the Second Place Winner: 30,000 solars, and rare notes belonging to Rudolph van Richten!

To the Third Place Winner: 20,000 solars, and rare notes belonging to Rudolph van Richten!

May the best man or woman win, though be careful... those who stare into the abyss for too long find the abyss staring back at them!"

New papers replace the old, though the bloodstained one stays up for reasons beyond ken, likely so the gendarmerie can be made aware of the possible threat.
