The Spear of Longinus

Um, well, why does this spear exist in its current form and frequency? I mean for a weapon that supposedly pierced the side of Christ, having fame and infamy throughout history and for its singularity and general mythos around making the user an immortal Godking.. why does it exist more than once, and why does it.. um.. have such underwhelming stats? I think it needs to be removed/renamed. It just doesn't do that spear/item justice. Just 2 cents here.

It's just a name/inspired by the mythical spear as well as versions of it in other games like Castlevania. Doesn't mean it's the "true" spear.

I never understood what the penalties it has translate into. Maybe the - animal empathy because it makes animals shy away but - use magic device?

SR 10?

Christ keeps returning, dispatching him repeatedly generates the new spears.

Wait, that's the old version...the current version doesn't have those penalties, or it shouldn't.

Every single spear I've seen has had that as its stats.

But, WTF? And his XP penalty? Who does he think he is? I don't care whose son he is: If he plays in this server, he plays by the rules!
