Pack Ox and Mines
« on: December 09, 2010, 05:16:50 PM »
So the ox system has been tweaked to make it quite a bit better than when i first tried it out.
But one thing still bugs me.
I can't actually take the ox into a mine.
Which... really defeat the purpose of me wanting an ox in the first place.
To haul ore.
Is this intentional?

Yes. It's to prevent soloing, and also, realistically, you'd be hard-pressed to drag an ox (an animal) deep into a dark mine, especially one infested with monsters.

Can we have mining ponies then?

It's something of a concession to crafters since the exhaustion system pretty much screwed us over. (Especially smiths.)
It's come a long way, but it's just not quite there yet.
