They have the same HD as the animated person so that's already happening.

Guess its best to be careful too if your raising a high level PC you'd be sure to have a heck of a fight on your hands.   :twisted:

That would be awesome... except I can see a bit of an exploit, as people would be pvp ing people, raising them, killing the zombies and taking their uber equipment.

Newly raised zombies wouldn't have any of the feats to use most of the equipment anyway.

I think they should have undroppable versions of every item from the character's "paper doll" section at the top, the equipped items.

Also, the type of undead should be variable, with it preferencing the type of undead particular to the location.  IE, the Sullen Woods should produce shadows or shadow fiends.

+1 to evil priests commanding the recent dead - also, maybe have it be random whether its a skeletal/zombie/ghost?  Just thoughts!  Can't wait to see it happen.

I'm for zombies only.
Ghosts usually (to my knowledge) represents attachment and unfinished business, nor accidental undeadom.
And a recently deceased becoming a skeleton seems weird to me. Where and how did he lose his flesh?

Oh, right. That makes sense.
And finally, arcane spellcasting and evil divine casting could take place too, but i think that would be too much work for not that much benefit.

Do we have an inverse system where if an undead MPC is going to be raised by Create Undead, there's a slight chance they come back as a living human NPC, then go off to live their life on a farm?

Then you have to kill them again to turn them back into undead. :D

Probably nothing.
Raise dead and Ressurrection only works if the target wants to come back.

Canonically you should be able to resurrect or true resurrect the undead, but that doesn't apply to MPCs - presumably to avoid a revolving door of undeath.

Heh, I'd be all for that myself, but then the rules in the book work just as well for me but would make nearly all the Undead MPC's....hmmm.....Not MPC's anymore....

I think it should be included, people will either forget, or not bother. It makes it more of a challange and fun, this system is all about risk and conciquence, lets make people not bothering or forgeting to remove items a part of that consiquence.
