"Join Internet Game" freezes NWN

Something new every day...
i tried a few times now, but every time the same result:
When clicking "Join Internet Game", my NWN freezes.

So far i tried reinstalling the following:
- NWN Core Application from 1.69 Patch
- PoTM Custom GUI

Any other suggestions on what files may be causing that?

I see a complete reinstall coming my way... Uh-oh...

Sometimes it happens to me too, it can depend on many other things like an unstable internet line (maybe fast enough but not "constant") or some hardware failure...

no, not on a Mac 

i did not change anything since the last post, but all of a sudden it works again. My guess would be the unstable connection with... some mystical effect on my machine telling me to play less.
