Growing up amongst the merchants with his father Trevantes was introduced to a world of intrigue, and opportunity.
Following in his fathers shadow he watched as the merchants would hire him out for escorts and other guard missions. His father was never home for long but in those times he taught young Trevantes how to use a sword.
As time drew on Trevantes followed the path, his father took him along as a squire of sorts, to learn how a guard and escort might earn a living. Upon reaching the age of 15 Trevantes got an offer he couldn't refuse, service as a personal guard to one of the Red Wizard merchants.
Taken from his home town he was brought to the merchants main warehouse district where he was then given training by their militia. During this time Trevantes grew to be well versed in all forms of bladed weapons.
After 3 years he was given his first mission, during which he suffered a massive blow to the head from a morning star, though the healers were able to patch him back together through their skills he suffered irreparable damage to his mind.
He retains a fair capability to speak, though at times slow, and of all of his training he only recalls how to wield large blades properly, having lost the finesse with smaller weapons.
Now he finds himself again on an escort mission, though in the midst of a muggy summer evening a mysterious mist has rolled over the caravan, he finds himself separated from his charge, and companions.
