//The problem comes in that 3PM EST is indeed 8PM GMT. However, most of the Eastern (American) time zone are currently using DST.
3PM EDT is is 7pm GMT.

3PM EDT is is 7pm GMT.

And in Britain we're using British Summer Time (which is GMT +1).
