Since I've noticed many posts about these two crafts, I feel that the interest is still alive. I know these crafts pretty well, as others, and speaking also to some other players I have had some few ideas for further development of them.
Woodworking.
I've posted about this in the past with no feedback, but what about clubs and staves being actually craftable and in the range of woodworking instead of smithing? It's the smith who sells the patterns, but with the actual wood combinations it's not possible to craft them. Any smith who can confirm the impossibility of crafting those two weapons?
About them, I thought that actually ironwood could be some material used for this craft and for those weapons (or armours too, and shields, for druids). I am not an expert on this material, but maybe somewhere could be mapped/spawned ironwood trees: I was thinking about Krofburg area so to give a reason to go there (and possibly staying).
Leatherworking.
Added to the other things suggested (boots, cloaks, etc.), what about slings? I think there is a lack of special slings in the game and since they can't be crafted it limits the choice of this weapon to some characters who could use them efficiently (halflings in particular). Maybe as for bows and crossbows, the kind of leather could offer some resistance, special AB and the likes according to the hide which is used.
Okay this is what I thought. Up to you a reply
