NWN 2 & vista

Im helping out a friend thats letting me use there system until i get mine. But I offered to put NWN 2 on it for them. But I get this coming up.

string ERROR_DX_INSTALL was not found in string table

Im guessing it has something to do with vista but not sure.

Sounds like some sort of DirectX issue. Try downloading and installing the most recent version of Direct X:

Thank you very much. But I managed to get it running on win 7 no problem on my new system. Then her and I played for maybe 5 mins before seeing that we had wasted our money lol.
