Game crashing in Mt. Baratak Old Mountain Road area
« on: December 01, 2009, 12:41:18 PM »
When I try to load the game, my character is in the "Mt. Baratak Old Mountain Road" and once the map loads my game client crashes.  Anyone else had this problem before?  I guess I'll have to wait for a server reset so I can load the game at the OOC ara.

I used to have that problem...

My solution was.

Rename Override folder to override1

make new empty folder named override

Login, get to different area then replace the old override back into its rightful place.

Some people have had crashing issues with the ruined zeklos keep area as well, due to sound card issues.  If you have a realtek built in sound card that could also be the issue.

My override folder is empty.  Should it be?

Overrides are mainly for custom bells and whistles. If it's empty that means your client simply has to load less.
Though a long time ago there was an issue with certain CEP armors not co-existing with the color spell/feat icon pack.

Try lowering all your video settings and then go back in.
