In the wee hours of the morning, a young halfling woman was seen delivering parcels to many homes within the slums. She would knock a few times, and then leave the gifts, tied as they were with a bow and the symbol of Ezra attached, at the door.

Another dawn wanderer, this time in the guise of a rosy coloured robe visits a good few handful of houses with warm woollen clothes, extra food and loads of firewood, a few words in Balok is exchanged but otherwise not much happens before later in the day the priest goes back to the sanctuary.

More packages are left at various doors in the slums, just before nightfall. This time they are left wrapped in paper and tied with twine. The packages are filled with food and spices.

[In the dead of night a shrill voice can be heard proclaiming loudly, "But I don't wanna BE a mink!" The voice trails through the back alleys of the Slums and is soon lost somewhere in the Western portion of the district]

In the early hours of the morning, a young red headed halfling woman was seen once again, delivering care packages to the needy within the Slums. These were filled with a warm cloak, a holy symbol of Ezra, The four Books of Ezra, some garlic, belladona, and medicines to help carry the poor through the hard Barovian winter.

Each gift was left with a short letter wishing good tidings and welcoming each to the next Fifth Day service.

Once again a tiny visitor leaves gifts for the less fortunate. Each is filled with a warm cloak, warm winter clothes, medicine, first aid kit, garlic, and a small amount of rations, the Second Book of Ezra, and a letter. They are placed late in the night with out any fanfare of any kind.

In the late afternoon, dozens of Morninglordians can be seen exiting the Eternal Dawn Sanctuary. Sorrowful looks adorn their faces as they carry a wooden coffin upon their shoulders. The flock moves without disturbance from the peasants or the garda as they make their way down the cobblestone streets. Soon, they exit through the gates of the grey city, heading towards the Coming Dawn Sanctuary's graveyard. There, as night falls upon Barovia once more, they bury their dead and bid their farewells.

[After the celebrations of Radkov Day, multiple Morninglordians are seen visiting their neighbours in the slums, carrying a crate with them. Knocking on doors and stopping people on the road, they donate various packages of toys and clothes away to all who'd accept such, as well as a couple meals worth of dishes for each head they could reach, making sure the untouched food from the festival does not go to waste.]

Despite the warm summer air providing a brief respite from the otherwise inhospitable coldness Vallaki is infamous for, many locals wisely choose to remain inside at night, doors bolted shut and curtains drawn. The dangers that prowel slums during the witching hours, while seldom mentioned aloud, are well known. Tonight is no different.

As the hour hand passes three, a single gunshot might awaken those who would be otherwise sumberling. The exact cause or reason for the disturbance remains unclear leaving the imaginations of the locals to wander abound...

[The morning's business up and down the Svalich is broken up by the sounds of wailing and sobbing. Two women, one smaller and one quite a bit taller, are observed clinging to each other in the driving rain. As the sun rises to it's pinnacle and finally dips low the two continue to hold onto each other as strangers come and go.

Sadness hangs thick in the air as the two are reduced to a pair of crumpled ragdolls, keening and pawing at one another in their grief. Several individuals attempt to attend to them, only to be ignored or simply unseen through the torrent of tears. As the rains subside their cheeks find no relief, tears continuing to streak down onto the road.

Finally, as the sun's final rays fade into shadow and the moon begins it's slow unveiling, the two are momentarily brought out of their stupor long enough to trudge Eastward down the Svalich. Still clinging to one another as best they can manage they stumble toward the Markets. Not long after the two disappear from the streets, the sounds of quiet sobbing echoing off buildings until it fades completely away.]

[As darkness falls upon the grey city, the crack of gunfire can be heard. In it's wake, a lawman's faithful beast, a bond forged by battle and bloodshed- it's life brought to an abrupt and crual end with a flash lightning and roar of thunder.]

Early in the morning, just after the six o'clock bell, a petite young woman was seen entering the city and made her way toward the bounty office. Upon her arrival, she witnessed four guardsmen fending of a very large wererat. After a few moments of internal deliberation, she decided to aid the three men and one woman. She beat the rat with her bare hands until it fled, then chased after it down the city streets where it cut short the life of an older, common woman who could not flee in time. Finally, the young woman felled the beast with a kick to it's skull. She returned to the bounty office with a few small trinkets and left with a sack of gold. She spared not a word to any of the guards leaving them to clean up the mess of an old woman who they had failed to protect.
