Browser trouble

On a new computer, and not quite sure what's wrong with its browsers. Things are missing and replaced with white blocks. In Internet explorer (Not version 8 ) everything is insanely enlarged, while in fire fox things are just replaced with white blocks but remain at the same size. As shown below,

I checked the error logs in fire fox, and this is what it says when I'm on our forums. It has similar for every web site.

Since it's small, here's a larger version:

Warning: Error in parsing value for 'float'.  Declaration dropped.

So far I've checked for updates on Windows updater, re-installed adobe flash player, and checked to make sure Java was updated properly. Anybody have any solutions? I'm hardly the computer wiz, so step through directions will be appreciated.  :D

Cheers!

I would say "You're pregnant" given my lore on computer.

I suppose it's either some graphic card/monitor setting or, unfortunately, a virus. Broswers are the first thing to show that kind of issue generally.

This is the first time the computers been hooked up to the internet, so I'm x'ing out the possibility of a virus at the moment. Just got done down loading the latest driver and it's still looking the same. :/

Wish you luck. My main computer is at technicians. I gave up trying to cuddle with him.

Make sure you're not running any internet filtering/net nanny software. They will cause issues like this one, and new computers come with garbage such as this installed.

By the way, after you make a change like disabling some net nanny software, you'll have to fully clear the cache of the browser for it to take effect.
