Nervousness, intrigue, and relief came over the girl.
The Helping Hand received -
To the Broken Bell - A place of wonder to her
They asked the girl to join them -
The dark-haired man and the handsome, older gentleman.
A chance meeting for the girl.
The Helping Hand began anew -
The girl was inspired to be something greater.
The opportunity of a lifetime -
Offered by the Admired
The Helping Hand of the dark-haired man
Everything she had dreamed of -
Now within her grasp.

Part II -The Dance

This is the story of a girl.
Inspired - Eager - Worried
The Ball - The dark-haired man explained.
The girl did not know what to do.
The Dance -
Something she knew nothing about.
The girl indulged herself in fabric.
Dresses - That was part of it.
The Dance of silk and lace
A voice calling to her from the dark
Compelling the girl to step out of the light
Her will was not strong enough.
The Dance of Shadows
Lessons - the girl would need lessons.
A new friend offered, the older friends accepted.
A surprise - she would plan a surprise.
The Dance with the dark-haired man
Everything she had planned came to an odd conclusion.

Part III - The Performance

This is the story of a girl.
Hopeful - Longing - Dissapointed
The harp - Her instrument of choice
The girl began to practice, to learn, to play.

Another surprise would be welcome, she thought.
The Performance planned
Hours passed as the girl practiced
Plucking at the strings of the heart
Forging a bright future for herself.

The truth came upon the girl.
The handsome, older gentleman heightened her fears.
It would not be possible - only causing pain

Haunted - Scared - Betrayed
The return of the Figure
A demanding voice from the dark

Something she had never expected
The girl was compelled to darkness.

A new night - He called to both.
A third joining her on the stairs
The Shadow down the hall
The identity discovered - A friend, she thought
The girl was terrified by the truth.

The Shadow - She informed the dark-haired man.
Everything she had to tell when the Figure came again
A mistake that led to grief.

The others are trouble-makers.
A night of jesting and laughter

The overwhelming feeling -

And night of seduction and passion -
The girl was a victim.
The Heart of a lover
The tugging in many directions -
She sought the advice of the Brick.
She wronged the Protector - more guilt
The Heart of the dark-heaired man
Everything she sought in the beginning
A feeling still worth fighting for.

Part VIII - The Everlasting

This is the story of a girl.
Despised - Loved - Bound
The Protector became the enemy -
With the attempt to capture the Lover -
The Everlasting -
Something she took for granted before
The girl had to stand up for herself.
A confrontation at the Outlander Inn
The Everlasting fought
The Protector was blind - power he sought
The Lovers made their point.
Charges were dropped - A ray of hope
The Everlasting love of the Dancer
The girl appealed to her Big Brother -
A hope to see him again
A return to the arts - her first performance
The Everlasting bond, not with the dark-haired man -
Everything she gave to the Dancer - the Lover
Now bound with the diamond ring upon her finger.

Part IX - The Promise

This is the story of a girl.
Unhappy - Released - Renewed
The ring - a controversial thing
The girl knew something deep down.
The Promise -
Something that couldn't be kept
The girl did not want the same things.
Her career would be over.
The Promise broken
An overwhelming sickness -
The Lover did not come.
Another - the Eye took care of her.
The Promise never fulfilled
The Eye watched her from afar.
Longing for the girl and her touch
And she shared in his longing for too long
The Promise of the Lover was over.
Everything could now be found
In the arms of the Eye.

Part X - The Unexpected

This is the story of a girl.
Surprised - Thoughtful - Apologetic
She thought the Eye could mean something.
More than all the rest
The Unexpected -
Something that felt different than anything else
The girl became confused over a kiss.
She meant it more than any other.
The Unexpected kiss
For none other than the Brick
The girls chased him - to know the truth
The Brick felt it too - a missing link
The Unexpected feeling
Odd was how she described it.
She felt it again with a second kiss.
And the answer - not fully explained
The Unexpected conclusion for the Brick
Everything she would have to explain to the Eye
One of the most difficult letters to write.

Act II

Part I - The Fallen

This is the story of a young woman.
A lovely young woman - A musician - An actor
Her harp played the music of her soul on its strings.
A complex melody - constantly changing - speeding and slowing
The Fallen -
A loss of many thing throughout her story
The hope to one day regain what she has lost
The Fallen rejected -
So many now turned away from her
The friends she thought she could keep - Nowhere to be found
And who remained? - The Brick and Scarlet
The ones she could fully trust.
The Fallen tried to mend -
The young woman worked to patch the wounds.
A feeling of creeping despair -
At the hurt she caused in others.
The Fallen took a chance with the Brick -
Everything she would give to make him happy
To make up for what she had lost.

Part II - The Restored

This is the story of a young woman.
Renewed - Loving - Selfless
Her heart tremored in her chest.
Fear, love - Perhaps both
The Restored -
Something she had only dreamed of
The young woman was joyous at what she had found.
Her love crossed boundaries.
The Restored friendship
The Protector was forgiven and forgave.
New problems simmering under the surface
A struggle to keep the Protector protected
The Restored love in her heart
Stronger than she ever felt it
The young woman's feelings for the Brick illuminated
The love she felt - returned.
