System Restore
« on: May 02, 2009, 11:09:13 AM »
Computer hit the !@#$'er - had to restore it through the Windows Restore program, or whatever it's called.

Anyone done this before? Seems it wiped everything in God's creation off of my computer aside from Firefox and an expired Bejeweled demo -- but the computer works now. Hell of a trade off.

Well apparently it saves all the files you have before you restore, so, disregard this! :D

System Restore is one of the best additions ever to be made to Windows.  :D

I once had to recreate a system for a business client that had a serious hard drive failure... and System Restore was the main reason I was able to put it back exactly as it had been despite some data corruption to some of the original files.
