Seasons.

I'd like to know if it is intended, But Ravenloft is beggining to feel a big winter land: we spent weeks (in real life) in winter in game and after a quick spring, and a quick summer, we are already in the autumn.

Doesn't seem very fair to me.

Some places really do have short seasons depending on where you are.  You can have a short summer, or in my case, a short winter (SW Florida).

Ravenloft may be reflecting that.

The RL area Barovia mimics is surrounded by mountians , http://encarta.msn.com/map_701517168/transylvania.html..although Ive never visited the area, the Czech republic , which Ive stayed a while in has a very simmilar season pattern , once spring finnaly comes , its like someones lit a touch paper ..Whoomph! everything blooms & the summers are actuall a great deal warmer than here in the UK ...when winter comes , its like someone has dropped the country into a tub of luquid nitrogen

Seasons in the part of Alberta I'm in go something like this:
Spring - April (occasionally starts mid march)
Summer - May, June, July, August
Autumn - September, October
Winter - November, December, January, February, March

It doesn't take long to get hot once the last of the snow is gone, which is why spring tends to be short here.
So, from my perspective at least, the barovian winters are short, and balmy.
