Not sure if it's wax or the working station not working properly. I used the same patches with Barovian wax in a Barovian working station and it was not a problem of patches.

I survived the Blue Water Inn Massacre and all I got was this t-shirt.

Agreed. Although in keeping with the theme of the place, they could perhaps be named "poubelles" instead of trash cans.  :D

I have to say all the french names confuse me but I like Dementlieu alot anyway, would be odd with english would it not? ;)

It is a big contrast to Barovia with the wilderness. Perfect with two nations for two sorts of "society", culture and so on.

Yeah, it is unusual. I assume if we ever had Falkovnia, everything would be mostly German. However, I'm likely to use English translations in normal conversation. Still, never hurts to learn a little bit of a foreign language, and actually makes me glad I took some years of french in high school.

That begs the question, why was Barovia's areas not in Romanian?

Because canon wise they don't use Romanian names for anything. It wasn't until the 3rd ed. Gazetteer I that Balok was compared to Romanian anyway, and even then, they still used the same names for places that were in the old 1st ed. and 2nd ed. products. We did give some streets and back alleys in Vallaki Romanian names.

(also, nobody on the dev team speaks a word of Romanian, whereas EO, who designed Dementlieu, is French-Canadian and speaks French fluently ;))

Back to Dementlieu, I'd rather that French only be used for proper names (names of people, names of places) and not for every darn thing under the sun ("we don't sell 'swords,' we only sell 'épées!'"). :P

It's equally strange playing a character who doesn't understand french when you do, believe me!

It seems there is a known issue with the pathfinder of some NPCs at spawning in the area of docks and in the bazaar.

It has happened more than once to me and other players the problem comes when a PC is standing in the area when those NPCs spawn, that is at hour 7. In the specific a cow with the "mad cow" disease holds all merchants close to the door at the Bazaar :)

Not to be a negative prick but do they have to be around every corner? :P

Lol, I toned down the probability of them spawning for my next update, but yeah, they are a nuisance in Dementlieu. Cheap, lousy, street performers there for a few coins.

Have to point out a problem. The rooms in the hotel seem not to be correctly "separated" by the corridors when doors are closed, so that one in a room can easily listen what one is emoting out of the room and vice versa. In a scheming and plotting game this may be an issue. Of course one can decide to use countermoves, but again, it's not how other rooms in other inns work.

That happens in all rooms in all inns for the first 3-4 things said.

Actually when I was there a few days ago I was walking down the hall and I hit tab like I so religiously do and I could see Kitty and Constanze in a room where the door was closed. And the area was dark. So not sure if thats what Ciaran is talking about or not.

It was from an encounter earlier today. Denisa and some people with her were chatting while we passed kitty's room. I was able to over hear some conversation going on there, and I am assuming kitty got to hear denisa's chit chat outside.
