A Gem Among Jewels

We will now be purchasing the following items:

Phenalope: A dusky pink gem with black streaks.  This gem is almost always rough in texture.  Ten fangs will be paid for each phenalope.

Fire Agate:  A yellowish hued gem with a layered pattern of brown giving it it's fire like resemblence. Ten fangs will be paid for each fire agate.

Malachite: A gem of green color with varying shades of lights and darks.  Five fangs will be paid for each malachite.

Fluorspar:  This gem has a glassy luster, and is usually found in purple hues.  Do not mistake fluorspar with amethyst.  This is a very soft gem.  Twenty fangs will be paid for each fluorspar.

Garnet:  These are commonly known as the “Poor Man’s Ruby”.  The gem is blood red, but can also be found in a violet color.  The violet hued garnets are often called rhodolite.  Forty fangs will be paid for each garnet.

Aventurine:  This gem has a misty hue, often with glistening flecks of green shades. Fifteen fangs will be paid for each aventurine.

Topaz:  This gem is commonly pale orange in color.  Topaz varies in size, and has many multifaceted crystals.  Ninety five fangs will be paid for each topaz.

Alexandrite:  Alexandrite takes on a green hue under direct sunlight, and a red hue under candlelight. Forty five fangs will be paid for each alexandrite.

PRICES TO BE DISCUSSED WITH SELLER FOR THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

Diamond:  Diamond is a hard, transparent gem.  Colors vary with value.  Bluish hued diamonds are highly valued, whereas white, off white, pink, peach, and mauve diamonds are lower quality.

Ruby:  Ruby is a clear, red hued gem.  It can vary in size as well as quality.

Emerald:  This gem is a vibrant green color.  The gem itself is very fragile and cannot withstand extreme temperature changes or impacts.

Sapphire:  A transparent stone, normally consisting of blue shades.  Sapphire is a very hard crystal.

We will also be purchasing the following items:  platinum ingots, silver chains, gold chains, silver rings, and gold rings of both white and gold varieties.  Prices to be discussed with the seller.

CURRENTLY:  Only diamonds, rubies, fire opals, sapphires, and emeralds will be purchased.

Please see Ruxandra Stanga at the Bluewater Inn for more information, or to make a sale.
