As stated before, PoTM caters to different tastes. And while some adventure more than others, one musn't forget that adventuring is part of RP. Also, RPing doesn't mean it's to be a "giant chatroom" either. Role play involves both aspects (in which some players have a tendency to one more aspect or even balance it) and isn't exclusive of one or the other.
While you did not tell people to not adventure, Budly, you practically showed people the door by telling them they do not belong in an RP server if they want to "run around killing things".
