For folks viewing pleasure.......Since the topic is about treasure and what Spiders would or would not leave. Yes, I realize the Camel Spider isn't really a Spider but then neither is a Tarantula.

Now, a LOT of these are very disturbing, So if you are squeamish
DO NOT WATCH THEM. Even though they pass You Tube censorship rules, they are STILL DISTURBING. NOTHING (though a snake is close) is more disturbing then a feeding spider.
They do however, demonstrate how the spiders of giant proportions eat. Now, as can be seen, sometimes they coccoon, sometimes they don't; but if we are talking about Treasure being left behind, then logically, one could expect to find a bunch of dessicated Animal husks, or dessicated Adventurers.
I've always sort of favored the Later actually, and the treasure being representative of that of fallen PC's. Basically you die there, the Spiders get all your stuff as a Treasure spawn.
Even if they were to leave behind standard gear, well, that standard gear is still sellable. Beats finding piles of coins everywhere. Or Cleric/Paladin Scrolls. Now, back to work. Reminds me I need to feed the pet Scorpion. They're just as gruesome.
