Talk moves around of a red headed girl in odd clothes frequently asking around the streets of the village about the recent vampyre attacks that have happened offering gold or food for anything that might help

[Just as the sun set, last night, an Akiri woman was seen leading a mustached man through the streets of the run down village and right into the temple of the Blessed Succor. Neither one of them were seen until the next morning when the woman would head out at dawn to greet the sun and then promptly return inside of the church.]

Several animals have been slaughtered in a farm not far from the Village. Some of the animals have been partially eaten, but some were just killed. The marks on the animals and the brutally of the attack suggests a large beast, with claws and sharp teeth, but an empty bottle of a renowed dementlieuse wine found along with the carcasses create doubt about what could have done that.

Those forced to visit the dreary village of Barovia can hear the talk of the townsfolk speak on a robbery that took place in the dead of night within Bildrath's Mercantile. Among the items stolen from the old merchant were a pair of priceless emerald necklaces, several silver chalices, fancy brooches, silver ingots mined from the bygone days when the Wagner Silver Mines worked, and numerous other items of value.

Some free to take skillfully crated silk clothes, with some patches of worg pelts, start appearing at the local tailoring shop. Worgs have also reduced in numbers. A silent man walks the wood and the village.

More silk clothes are found in the shop of the local tailor. Apparently for free.

By the crossroad with Tser Pool a small camp has appeared recently. Notices claim of a recruitiment for some F.F.F. and someone called Arden. And then, as it happens, the camp can be seen no more.

A young blonde woman is seen frequenting the graveyard behind the temple.  Each time carrying with her a collection of freshly picked spring flowers.  She spends a good while kneeling before an unmarked grave, occasionally weeping.  She leaves the flowers and a small note behind, departing briefly before sunset.

Recently a greencloaked figure, roughly the height of a child if not slightly taller, has been sighted around the dreary settlement.
Rumour suggests that they entered the woods to look for the stone circle, after paying a visit to the haunted house of Mad Mary.
Whatever intent the figure has, they seem to be scanning the entire town and outlying environs.

The first law of Barovia broken, spat upon! Day breaks, and Count Strahd's own taxes have been stolen, pillaged from the village of Barovia by perfidious hands! The village guard mill in force, searching, and dark visitors come to ask questions; tall, with cruelty in their tone and bearing.

A carriage rolls into the village the next day, and the Burgomeister herself rises to meet the visiting Count Strahd von Zarovich, welcoming him into her estate - a very grim-looking Count.

A very young woman arrives in the village, passes into the graveyard, and disappears from sight--although throughout the night the sounds of battle and enraged undead echo from beneath the ground.

The next morning the woman reappears, her armor covered in gore, her face in tears. She washes and changes into a simple frock to spend the entire day praying and ministering to the sick in the hospice, healing many.

At sunset the cycle begins again. It does not appear that the woman--who wears a Wayfarer Kinship amulet--ever sleeps.

In the dead of night, something stirs in the woods and marshes surrounding the Village of Barovia. Glimpses of a figure, stick-thin and ragged. A man lurching between the twisted trees through banks of swirling mist, dragging a rusted felling axe behind him.
A single word breaks the silence of those nights. A howling lament filled with inhuman rage:
'Mina'

Some Vistani vardos have seen entering the Village overnight, left a couple of people by the Blood O' The Vine Inn and then went away, possibly to Tser Pool.

A loud, cacophonous battle erupts during the midnight hours in the graveyard of the Sanctuary of Blessed Succor. Roars and screams can be heard from what can be described as a large entity that rampaged through the noapte - destroying everything and anyone who dare defy it. Many brave warriors and villagers taking their stand, to little or no avail.

As the dawn caressed the land once more, all seemed to be normal. Save for one man, carried away by Morninglordians into their mortuary as the Barovians of the village carried on, seemingly  as if nothing had happened.

An unidentifiable corpse finds its way into the walls of the Sanctuary of Blessed Succor, laid upon the floor infront of Father Miklos. It's origin and identity a mystery to many - The Church invites any that may have information on the deceased and the circumstances involved to please come forth and share what they know.

A small congregation gathered in the cemetery behind the Sanctuary of the Blessed Succor.  The assembled were all clad in the robes of the Morninglord faith as orisons were raised in tribute to the dawn.  The dead was interred, laid to eternal rest and accompanied by the solemn hymns of hope synonymous with the faith.

The pervasive rainfall did not drench the spirits of the reverent assembly even as they returned to their temple with a look of pious resolve.

Village inhabitants still awake in the late hours of the night murmur quietly of black silhouettes caught in their periphery outside the window of their homes: silent, and still. Those brave enough to attempt to focus directly on these forms see only but an outline of lamplight bending over their humanoid shapes for a second before vanishing.

Some claim it a trick of the eye or blaming the lack of sleep. Others know better.

The small shrine to Ezra in the Village of Barovia seems to be tended now by a handsome blonde male anchorite with a bright smile. Occasionally a female anchorite with brown hair and caring and compassionate eyes and a tall and rather fetching Templar are seen as well assisting the blonde male anchorite. Inhabitants note that he speaks no Balok, but seems very polite offering courteous greetings, food, and offerings of coin in the trade tounge with a heavy Mordentish accent. The gardens of the shrine seem to have been prepared for planting, and posters note that the gardens will be used to grow food for the citizens of the Village of Barovia. The shrine is still bare save for the altar, candles, and prayer mats, but it is sparkling clean and welcoming.

Fewer howls are heard around the perimeter of the Village of Barovia. Villagers whisper about food being delivered to the citizens around the Village and of the sick being healed during visits from a young blonde Ezrite who heads out most mornings and comes back covered in the blood of worgs from around the village. He is quick to greet passersby with a smile and seeks to assist those in need. Also, the Shrine of Dutiful Mercy seems to be clean inside and out, and it is obviously occupied again.

Word has it that the Shrine of Dutiful Mercy is again empty. The young blonde Ezrite noted for his presence in the area of late collected what few belongings he had.  Gave alms to the poor and said farewell to the few he had spoken to regularly telling them the Grand Scheme had called him to service at the Redoubtable Chapel of Raduta Keep. With short blessings, he left the Village singing, albeit poorly, hosanas to Ezra.

A man who identified himself as Edouard, rightful Burgomaster of Krofburg, was heard to be loudly declaiming the unlawful theft of his property by his brother and his exile from Krofburg for many years. The crowd listened to him mostly for entertainment, and were eventually worn down enough by his ranting to ignore him for the rest of the evening as he grew increasingly drunk.

A few might hear, though, that he was being watched by several men in dark clothes, who after the night concluded departed directly towards the sinister spires of Castle Ravenloft.

A hooded woman weeps before the clergy of the Cult of the Morninglord in front of the Sanctuary of Blessed Succor beginning at dawn in a torrential downpour. By dusk they part ways amicably, and the woman enters the cemetery with a wicker mask in hand. The disquiet of ghoul and ghast is quelled when a ray of sunlight reaches down from the night sky, rendering them unto ash.
