Spells - Raise Sickness and Spells

When you have your raise sickness, your spells are obviously all shot to hell. Problem is, resting doesn't fix this. My charisma is dropped low, but when I rest, it restores the spells before it restores the charisma. Hence, at the time it restores my spells, it still counts me as having no charisma. After the rest, over half my spells are gone. I've noticed this for a long time, but it usually doesn't matter because 1) I tend to use resurrection 2) if I don't, I'm usually near an inn and I can rest twice in rapid succession.

I'm pretty sure priests have the same problem w/ their extra spell slots for wisdom, with it removing their spells from their slots and then them having to rememorize them.

Maybe it's supposed to work like this, to screw you for twice as long from a raise dead, but maybe it's not. At high level, this ends up being, what... 42 minutes? That's a long time to be standing around pulling your pud, just to be capable again.

Doesn't bother me that much, Volstagg just uses it as an excuse to go rest in the room with all the dwarf hotties.

Sometimes brutal violence is the only answer.
