*Pinned in some spots usually crowded both with Barovians and Outlanders, in an elegant writing, some papers show evidences of water taints, as if tears dropped on them*
To all Barovians
The Mists have taken to you us, unwelcome guests,
Outlander we are but this does not mean we’re bad;
Aim of the Legions of the Night, we endure the same tests,
Letting them harm any of you made us feel guilty and sad.
Love and hate are feelings we all as persons share,
But in spite of everything no harm was planned or meant;
As in a cloudy day some sunbeams to intrude they dare,
Ready is the dark to cover any flowery and sweet scent.
On these lands my feet have stepped for many years,
Vallaki and Barovia have been for so long my only home,
I am drying my eyes, for every victim thousand tears,
At all of you I direct a blessing in Ezra’s name.
Nothing can change what has been done, not even my art,
Still I beg for mercy for me and for the owner of my heart.
