Letto request
« on: August 01, 2008, 06:39:48 PM »
I searched the fourm and couldnt find a god spot to put this so here it is. Sorry if i missed the right spot.

I need the character Weston Kendry to have his name changed to Gnaeus Manliu-Avitus. Hes suposed to be barovian but i forgoten to give him a roman sounding name and accidently made him with a randomly generated one.

My gamespy log in is Zander_blood

There is no LETO here. You'll need a remake.

They have Romanian sounding names. Which should not be confused with Roman sounding names.

Here's the post regarding remakes.

Not compatible with the operating system the server resides on, if I remember right.

Surely there is some kind of character modification program that a person who had acess to the vault could use even on a linux comp.

I dont think we should bother the host on such trivial matter, just do a remake. Any DMs should be happy to help.

P.S what is the level of yours character? if it is a new char just creat a new one less trouble.

ill probly do that. just remake the char but letto is hardly trivial. I havent been on a server that doesnt have it. It lets people change character discriptions, apearance, names, and even abilities as rp changes their character.

It's a shame they never did a LETO for linux.  It's such an amazing program for character editing.

The problem is mainly that it takes a lot of managing for the server host if we are to do these things.

Do you mean managing as in space taken up or actual activity from the host?  Becuase from other servers I've seen, programs like LETO could be managed by anyone with granted authority from the admin.

Activity from the host. We can't give out access directly to the server, as it'll give access to the internal university network.
