pack animals?

I have seen a marvelous pack animal system used by olander, and it seems to really generate no lag. I wonder if it might be considered here for players who might be rich enough to afford such a thing?
They seem to have a limited storage and carrying capacity, so perhaps it might be feasable?
I could see the crafy ranger really turning around and selling pack beetles that he's trained while still using them to have flaming swords and fire resistant shields made while the pc's are still unaware of whats really going on, and he rolls in the coin pretending he's poor.
Of course, it would kind of suck to have your pack animal killed, heh, having to try and carry all that stuff yourself, would be one way to loose a lot of stuff on an adventure.

Well, let me know what you think, I am curious.
