The abuse concerned with the jump skills we've seen on the vault is that they basically allow you to bypass things like locked doors. That big gate in front of Castle Ravenloft? *Player jumps it and then farms the Castle* No thanks :P

Right like I said, a few stat based Points.  Click the point, it rolls, and up you climb or jump.  Even seen this done for Windows of buildings and such.  Then, the server folk can stick them where they want them.  Not a bad compromise because jumping 90 story tall gates is a bit retarded.

Flying has been discussed to death before and is not planned at all.

As for the monstrous look, it's already taken into account with the OcR system.

Yeah but it doesn't seem to be taken account with the PC to PC interaction.

maybe something similiar to climbing systems i've seen? they take into account str and dex, and bad rolls cause falls and damage? And they would only be where placed? this would allow certain pc's with the correct abilities to try climbing via a widget or players with a rope to try the same? It's and idea to bounce if reasonable enough.

Actually from what I have heard of the PC to PC interaction, was one of the few things that just caused me to have to turn off the game, grab the fly rod, and hide behind the zen that is fly fishing.
