I'm not sure what all the DM's and scripters know about the bug, but from what I've seen in being helped by many of the DM's (thank you) is that there is no collective knowledge on what the bug is or how to get around it temporarily. Almost every DM has a different method of fixing it, and some have never seen it before until they helped Sedrik.
I think it would be beneficial if there was a collective knowledge amongst DM's on what the bug is, and how to deal with it, and that should go for any common or serious glitch. I often feel some DM's are out of the loop when dealing with glitches.
That is my suggestion.
