o) The way in which the mists outside the Vampire Crypts shift and move when a character casts within them.

o) The way bandits will actually come looking for me in I rest in their cave.

o) The Mark system....again. :D

o) Monsters in Hide.

o) Monsters calling for their mates.

o) AMPCs

o) MPCs

o) Barovia.

o) The Red Vardo.

o) An active server economy.

o) Non-magical arms & armour that is useful.

o) The crafting system.

I forgot two earlier:

o) Ghouls running on all fours.

o) The way werewolves fall onto one hand, struggle to get up, prior to collapsing.

Both of these look awesome.

Quickened herbalism - superb. =)

University - nice, and also great to have a bit more outdoors areas in Dementlieu.

Not sure on enchanting yet, but it's curious. Disappointed my main doesn't have enough arcane capacity to practice it, but I know the restriction is feasible. More fun RPing it with a good mage anyway.

One thing I'd say about the death system is the DC 90 thing is a bit high. I can't see many people stabilizing, wheras with the old system, there was a higher chance to stabilize. Other than that, I love the system. :)

actually it has the exact same chance on average, only you never see a roll vs dc that looks impossible

the base chance is a 10% as it is dc 90 against a d100 thus 10% with approxmitly 10 or so chances. I believe con or fort lowers the DC thus making the % to live higher, can some one confirm this for me?

anyways Props for the university and enchanting I can't wait to use them as they are cool! :D

I just saw enchanting for the first time, it looks absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, it gives Zach horrific flashbacks to Azalin's soul machine, and he will never be able to enchant.

You guys put a lot of work into this server, and it shows, as all of these extra elements really bring the server to life, and give us this atmosphere.  So, when you all undoubtedly get scouted and hired on to make the next big RPG, make sure we get to beta test it? ;)

I'm not sure when this went in, or if it's always been there and I only noticed due to traveling the zone frequently to mine, but I really like that some of the trees in the southern farms zone change with the season.

I think that might be new because I just literally noticed that the other day myself. it is a nice touch.

I really like the wider variety of season changing trees, it especially makes a difference in the winter.

I play on Ravenloft barely three weeks, but in case of my Holidays and my overall impressions of the server - I shall share a few words.

First off, the music selection. For me, as a soundtrack lover, the selection is neat and blends in perfectly with the dark mood of the world. In fact, just after my first Ravenloft session - I converted all BMU into MP3's, tracking the soundtracks one by one. Really awesome.

The overall grim and heavy mood. I honestly had no idea, that D&D can be such deliciously dark setting. Of course, Land of the Mists (just a place of many), but still... Good work on expressing that through fogs, nighttime, how grinding is a challenging and punishing thing if done wrong - you just did those elements in a matter I have been always dreaming of, since I started playing NWN on RP servers. Everything I played before was more or less about RP, but always in some decent amount about builds. But here? You can RP freely and still be a major element of the story. You can just RP and you feel rewarded.

And the community in itself. I played on quite a number of servers (many of them died already), and Ravenloft easily stands at the glorious TOP for its quality and dedication. Good work, for sure. ;)

All in all, Ravenloft - Prisoners of Mist immersed me in a way that I think.. any server will ever fail to deliver. I am happy I finally decided to jump in here. Because I will definitelly stay for longer, contributing here and there. You guys are great for doing this. Bloody well done!

I say, the immersion been really good on small servers! But here on POTM they often manage to bring it on a bigger scale!

Scripting and System changes:

- Reenabled the Special Self and Special Other feats.

- Made the Wondrous Mirror of Changing Faces able to change bodypart colours.

- Enabled an option for crafting clothings that allows you to skip five appearances ahead (or backward).

- Fixed an issue with being hit by subdual when already subdued.

Soren deserves a praise. One of the least lazy people I know of.  :)
