from reading posts on the forums, it sounds like ravenloft has got a -lot- bigger since i first played. cant wait to get further out and see it all. the attention to detail in terms of area design and systems is one of the things that brought me back here, as well as a dedicated playerbase.

now i just need to buy that graphics card and big monitor ive been putting off getting for the last 2 years, then crank up the settings and make the most of the long visibility distance

I have not crafted any of my characters' cloaks yet, but I've scrolled the choices. Good, really. I love it. As all of us I believe... Thanks!

The script the scripts the scripts.

I never cease to be amazed how alive the world can appear by the scripts in place.

Getting chased into a tavern by a monster, and seeing some patrons run for the door, others recede further in the building, and some buff up to confront the monster. Its just great.
I survived the Blue Water Inn Massacre and all I got was this t-shirt.

Actually it's been noted many times when the fleeing/failing morale system didn't work properly, but what Emomina states here is right, it gives a sense of real people with individual decisions. Good work with the AI so far, seconded.

Just to point out, that it actually still does not work properly. Its just broken at an acceptable level.

I like that:  Broken at an Acceptable Level.

I like the system, broken or not, more realistic, I think.

I've got only one word for all those juicy haks and additions in the last update: Awesomeness

Well also those...

The new familiars are uber cool.

I've also a very good feeling about the parry skill, as it takes focus off tanks with tower shields.

And many other things, I'm really touched by the effort you still put in the server

Yes, props for the new familiars and the new parry skill. The changes are unexpected and yet make so much sense. (Yes, I do miss the panther familiar but the house cat familiar and others ease that loss nicely.)

The panther familiar is retardedly powerful, thanks for replacing them with cats, and for the new additions.

I foresee some dungeon runs "old style", being in there for hours and hours. The challenges are lots, not many places where resting, traps anywhere, high level monsters. I still don't know how I managed to keep myself alive to liberty! (Of course I was invisible all the time, but that only is not enough). Big, complicated, I was tense all the time looking for a way out. I definitely love it, hope to find a party to go in there soon :)

It seems like just yesterday these features were discussed and they're already added.   I'm in awe of how quickly new ideas are implemented here.  The staff deserves a HUGE deal of credit!
