I've only experienced this with the POTM server.
Running the Android NWN client, I login as my character, and I cannot move. The game client thinks that I'm currently doing 'something' and I cannot move, other players can hit me, but I don't retaliate, I take damage.
When I log back onto the windows NWN client, I'm still stuck in position and have the same problem, however now I can use the @ commands to force myself to sit down, and then find the nearest seat. After running this command, logging off and back on, I can then stand up and walk around.
It only happens when I switch to logging on with the Android client.

If you log in with a different CD key you'll be asked to verify the password you put in that character during character creation. I think the command is @login YourPasswordGoesHere. I ran into a similar issue thankfully my PC was in the OOC lounge.

You can aswell set your Android device CD-KEY to same as of your PC copy one and you won't have problems after. Here is how you do it:

Beamdog made it so you cannot use different CD Keys on the same account when they released EE. I did made a test recently though, and it seems its now possible.
As Philo said, you need to use the password you set before you let the OOC Character Creation room.
If you don't remember the password, you can always contact a DM and have them reset the password for you, you may to prove its you once you're in game, but that's easily done with discord or a through your forum account really ;)

This problem did not appear to be related to CDkeys/accounts, as I logged in with the password I had already set on desktop, when I connected via mobile. I even tried re-logging into my character when connecting via desktop and it was only the routine of setting seated/find seat/etc dance that managed to get my character to finally acknowledge movement.
I don't believe this's related to cdkey use.

No, except when trying to emote it says that I'm too busy to do it or something similar, as though the character's stuck doing something.

Maybe your character's bugged and you need a kill-revive from a DM ?
