Elemental dmg of this feat is ignoring resistances of creatures normally immune to specific dmg type. For example: frost and fire essence hurts cursts, fire essence hurts fire trolls.
It looks like all types of elemental essences affect spectral creatures, like ghastrian church spirits.
-
It also stacks, allowing you to take all the elemental essence feats and have a super-weapon that does all the damage types on every hit. Not sure if that's intended but I assume it isn't.
-
I suspect the stacking is acceptable due to each taking a charge of wildshape. So going full rainbow mode would not just require a heavy feat investment to get them all, it would then take a hefty chunk of your wildshape to remain powered up.
Ignoring resistances is spooky, tho.
-
Yeah, you pretty much need Extra Wildshape and/or Elemental Shape to benefit from using all 4. You also only get them for 10 minutes at most. Not a big deal, of course, when a Druid (or really anyone) at level 16 is doing most of their dungeons in a single rest period (depending on party).
The resistances thing is a bug that's getting looked at according to MAB on Discord.

Bumping this. I've been told behaviour of the feat I've listed some time ago is still the same.
-
It's the nature of the effect of this applied command.

I wouldn't be surprised if divine might was bypassing those few items with divine resistance on them as well.

Yup. Seems to be an issue with NWN engine.
