If you were logged in on a PC during either of the recent crashes and your PC escaped unscathed, you might mention that as well with your login and PC name. It could help the Team determine why some files are being corrupted and some aren't.
Another piece of useful info might be for both cases is where your PC was in the module.
(Don't know if this will turn out to be helpful at all, but I'm trying to think of ways players can contribute to fixing this.)

Since the server has been stable for over 24 hours since we disabled a new backend system, we will reimport Monday's update tomorrow with some disabled features. If that proves successful, then we will begin restoring corrupted characters in the following days.

Probably because I didn't have her last name on the spreadsheet. When you reported her missing, you weren't sure of her last name :)

@everyone By request, an update on the current situation. An incomplete update caused a crash which triggered a rollback on the main server as well as corrupting some character files. Although all characters were restored from a backup, the server crashed again, rolling back this time to empty vaults. Do not worry--we have all backups still and your characters are safe and sound and can be reimported. The development team is addressing the problem and this will be resolved just as quickly as we can.
