Title: Paper items hard to see on the ground
Post by: herkles on April 14, 2019, 08:58:08 AM
So with the new Hak update, it has made it rather difficult to see peicies of paper on the ground that people use for advertising. Perhaps something could be done to make it more visible. Maybe go back to the previous look on the ground or puts them hovering to reflect them being on plastered on walls or notice boards?

They look fine to me.

They look fine to me.

The problem is that it now is rather difficult to see the pieces of paper unless you hold down tab, and even then it can be tricky. They are IMO rather small and hard to see.

I can see them perfectly well. Are you using an override?

Do you also have grass on by any chance?

I’ve got grass on and have tested both with and without massive graphical overrides.

I can see them fine too, with grass, although I don't have any overrides on. But if the override is making the grass an object that blocks being able to see the paper it might just be easier to disable grass in the settings to allow you to see. Otherwise I don't know any way to fix that myself.

Can’t see it very well myself, grass or no grass. Have to tab to see it on the ground, although it is a minor nuisance.

All in all, nice model, just wish it was upright (or that we could use interactive messageboards).

I think they look fine too to be honest, but I guess moving 3D models to 2D models is going to offput some people.

There's nice rocks about to put notices on out of the grass, or you can put them on top of carpentry-created stools/tables by attempting to place the notes underneath them to elevate them, or lay down a mat first. Presentation helps.

Yea, that is my experience as well and what prompted me to make this thread.
