Title: EE bug: companion and dominated animal not obeying
Post by: Always_a_hero on June 14, 2018, 02:46:39 AM
I’m currently playing a Druid for the NCE and one thing me and another Druid player have observed is that the animal companion is not following directives instantly, if not at all.

The most often used “follow” command would only work sometimes out of combat, but not at all during combat, the primary action staying attacking the enemy on sight even if the companion has to travel as far as the other side of a map. This compares to other commands such as “guard me” and “attack nearest” which works well in combat. Furthermore, the companion would start attacking the first enemy “perceived”, meaning the companion would run into a wall from simply hearing an enemy on the other side of it. All this would also apply to dominated animals, if not familiars for other casters.

Additional note: I don’t know if it’s a limitation compared to a familiar, but you can’t make your companion go into sneak mode, which can be useful in... specific cases.

This should now be fixed, but please help verifying - thanks 😃

Can I assume this is fixed then?

It hasn't been an issue for me so I assume so!
