Citizens of Barovia and Outlanders alike:
Please take warning of a killer stalking the countryside calling himself "Nightfall." This heinous murderer has killed multiple victims, but his last escaped after much grievous injury and has provided something of a description.
He pretends to be Barovian, but the accent is fake. He wears exceptional clothing and carries two short blades. He strikes from hiding and is able to paralyze his victim with a single blow.
Women, especially: Avoid travelling alone, even during the daytime. Mothers: Keep watchful eyes on your children at all times.
Normal weapons and countermeasures should work on him, as he is no creature of necromancy but a mere mortal.
Should you learn any information or have any suspicions regarding the identity of this foul miscreant, including having previously observed someone fitting this description, inform the Vallaki Garda.
