Not too much to say in this thread but get straight to the point. There's a bunch of aesthetic options for weapons of various sorts in the CEP pack, but we utilize very few of the truly quality ones. Is this for some reason? Avoiding too fancy looking weapons on fresh characters or just no one had gotten around to it on the Developer side just yet?

For example, a longsword:

As you can see, it's quite nice looking compared to the other models and currently unavailable in the craft rotation. Also not too out of the ordinary for a fresh character to be toting around. For a future hak update, could perhaps adding these variants for all weapons that have them be considered?

I was about starting an identical thread, so I'll just reply along this one.

I was scrolling through the items and found this cloak of Bane that could be easily implemented, every Banite on the server has always gone through the 'hunt for the pure black dye' to compromise the Tormite cloak guantlet model to color it pure black to make it look more Bane-ish.

I believe there's plenty of players who could find items useful for their roleplay lore the way I found this cloak, so I fully support this.

There's unfortunately game limitations preventing us from allowing more weapon item appearances to show up. That will (afaik) be fixed with NWN:EE though.

As for the cloaks, I'll see what I can do :)

Call me curious. I've seen other servers use color changing to access these models. What stops us in particular? Would it cause too many issues?

Among other things, it's a whole bunch of unnecessary work given that EE comes out on the 26th! :lol:
