A dark clad man weaving was seen assaulting a well-known Vardo walking beside the blood splattered owner of the Gaping Wound in the narrow alleyways of the Slums of Vallaki.
The assassin weaved a pair of short blades with vicious ease and cut down the Vardo, but the dark-skinned man cut the assailant down, and heedless of the many slashes he had received, helped the Vardo regain consciousness.
Shoving the corpse into a bag, he limped away, dragging the sack and his ax on the pavement on his way to the Drowned Rat, leaving crimson footprints behind.
